Its been a while............

Hey Everyone!

It has been a while since I have last "blogged" Seems like lately I have been blogged down..... BUT tonight is another night of TeamKID and I am so excited! Last week we could not meet because of the rain and schools got out early. Always remember when schools are cancelled due to bad weather or sickness, TeamKID will not meet......

So, teachers please use last weeks lesson for this week. We will make it up later. Also, we will do Sports Night and M&M Night so bring a friend!!!!

TeamKID opening night was so much fun. I will post the pictures soon. We had 51 kids all ready and pumped up about learning more about Jesus! How cool is that!!!!
This week is Bring a Real Friend Night and MM night..... IF you bring a friend this Wed night, you will get a pack of M&M's. YUMMMMM CHOCOLATE!!!!!

It's Time :o)

Team KID will begin tomorrow night, September 9, @ 5:45. We will gather in the sanctuary as we ask God to guide our club. The evening's activities will include class time, dinner, game time, and council time w/ Josh....
It is going to be an exciting year! Please invite friends and family to come join us as we learn about Jesus and His Word.
I want to personally thank the Lord for the opportunity to disciple His children and celebrate that they are doing exactly what the TeamKID motto says: "Learning about God. Using the Bible. Living for Jesus!

TeamKID starts 9/09/09

TeamKID is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and to grow in a relationship with Him. All parts of TeamKID—Bible stories, scripture memorization, life application, missions and recreation—connect to teach life lessons to kids. TeamKID is for children ages Pre-K through the 4th grade and meets every Wednesday during the school year at the church from 5:45-7:30. This year’s theme is “Step Out….The Courage to Do What’s Right!” We will explore the Biblical stories of courage in the Old and New Testament and apply them to how God wants kids to be courageous today.Coordinators: Karen Brown & Thresa Wilson

TeamKids has taken on some new faces this year & we welcome you all, kids as well as helpers. Our study is titled Count on Me. Proverbs 3:5.6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths"
Each week, we will learn to "count" on God & our friends and to live so others can "count" on us. So we count on you joining us Wednesday nights at 5:45 until 7:30..... Music, food, scripture memorization, missions and down right fun !!!

Attention: Team Kid Workers

Dear Team Kid Workers,

Happy Summer! I hope you are having a great summer. If I am sending you a letter, then you have shown interest in helping with the Team Kid Program. First of all, I want to say thank you! You have decided to help with God’s Ministry and you are appreciated. Second, are you ready for an awesome year???? I hope you are because this Team Kid year is going to be the best. We have already started planning for this upcoming year. I want you to start really praying for our club. Also, start getting excited! Start telling others about how much fun we are going to have. Tell the kids that we can’t wait until Team Kid starts. Get some excitement going!!!! We have to get the word out about Team Kid so EVERYONE will want to be part of it….
OK, well as you all know part of the Program involves planning. I have decided to have a Team Kids Workers Meeting and a Team Kid Workers Kickoff Celebration. I will list the dates below. Please try to come to both. It is so important that you show up for the meetings and gatherings. We are a family and I want us to share ideas and fellowship. You guys are all so wonderful! I am so thankful that God put you all in my life.
