Hello Everyone!
Hope you had a merry Christmas. We had a wonderful time. The kids had lots of fun and we got to spend time with all of our family. I may post some pictures soon. It is a busy time of year but it is so nice to spend time with family. Happy Birthday to Jesus! This whole holiday season is ALL about HIM!
Well I hope now that things will be sorta slowing down we can all get back on track. I am so looking forward to 2008 and the many things that await us and our church. We will be having a planning meeting in the next few to weeks to plan the new year.

That’s What Christmas is All About, Charlie Brown

Have you ever seen “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” the longest-running cartoon special in TV history? In the story, Charlie Brown is frustrated by his friends’ misinterpretation of the holiday.
During a rehearsal for a school Christmas play, Charlie Brown shouts out of desperation, “ISN’T THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO CAN TELL ME WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ALL ABOUT?” His best friend, Linus, says, “Sure, Charlie Brown. I can tell you. Lights, please.” As the spotlight shines on him, Linus tells Charlie exactly what Christmas is all about.
Linus proceeds to recite Luke 2:8-14: And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were so afraid. And the angel said unto them, “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you: Ye shall find the Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”
Linus was right. The wonder of Christmas is that the baby born in a manger grew up into a man who died on a cross for our sins. Three days after His death, Jesus rose from the dead, proving He is God’s Son and forever confirming the truth of the angel’s Christmas proclamation that Christ the Lord is our Savior.
That is the whole story of Christmas that you have the privilege and honor of telling your kids any time of the year – especially as it relates to the gospel.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Prayer Request

This is from a friend of mine..................

Hey everyone,

Alicia (Simpson)Phy a good friend of mine had her 1st baby on Saturday Dec. 1. He was about 4 weeks early when she had him. He weighted 5lbs. 12 oz. and they named him Andrew. The little guy is not doing so well. Alicia had Andrew in Cookeville Regional and on Tues. Dec. 4 Dr. Treece sent Alicia and her husband Mike with little Andrew to Vanderbilt. He can't keep his oxygen level up. I just recieved a call from Kaycee, Alicia's cousin, saying that they wasn't expecting him to make it. The doctors are saying that he doesn't have enough cooper in his body. I am not really for sure what that means but something ain't right in this little guys body.

We all know that the best medicine is prayer. So please be in prayer for this family and little Andrew.

Thank you so much for praying for this family. I will keep everyone updated on his condition.

Line Drawing....Awesome!

This is neat....... The 'longer' you look at this picture, the 'more' you see.

Look at the lines the artist used to draw this picture of Christ. There are scenes from Christ's life. Have you ever seen anything like this? Share this with a friend or two. In the Circle of God's love, God's waiting to use your full potential. May God Always Bless You and Yours!
